Deb Spair | PGA Associate and golf coach
Golf should feel like a place you belong.
Deb combines NCAA Division I playing experience with clear, encouraging instruction that helps juniors, women, and families build skill and confidence together.

A player's experience, a teacher's voice
Deb knows how much the message matters.
The right instruction should be technically useful and easy for the golfer to understand, remember, and trust.
Deb competed for the UNC Wilmington women's golf team and balanced Division I athletics with an academic path that culminated in a master's degree in Integrated Marketing Communication.
That combination is central to her coaching. She listens carefully, explains the priority in language that fits the student, and creates an environment where questions are welcome. Her experience with juniors, women, and competitive golf helps her see the complete golfer, not only the swing.

Make the instruction clear enough to use.
A good lesson should leave the golfer with confidence, a practical task, and a reason to look forward to the next session.
Listen first
Understand the golfer's experience, comfort level, goals, and what has made learning difficult before.
Keep it understandable
Translate technique into a picture, cue, or drill the student can take back to practice.
Create early wins
Build confidence through achievable tasks while keeping the long-term skill in view.
Make belonging visible
Use group energy, encouragement, and shared progress to help golfers see themselves in the game.
